Storyboard Jing PD Tutorial

At the end of the Brainstorming Adobe Connect session we devided up the work among the group members. Each member was going to generate the corresponding images, text and script to be inputted in our storyboarding tool.

Our group has used Google Docs to create the 15 slide storyboard for our Jing PD tutorial. Each slide had space for the Visual Description, Narration, Interactions, Branching and Programming and Notes.
When looking into the details and the script it's very clear how the final screencast is going to be coming out of the post production.

I worked on Slide 4 "How to start capturing the desired screen area", Slide 5 "Selection being made", Slide 6 "Screen area has been selected and will be captured" and Slide 11 "Video Screen Shot".

In the end it wasn't a very userfriendly storyboarding tool as text editing and layout changes were far from easy to achieve. Even creating a different slide order was quite an undertaking. For future storyboards I wouldn't use Google Docs again...
